Standing only half a mile away from the splendid Druid's Circle, Red Farm is something of a disappointment in comparison. The ring was probably an oval of 25 x 21m oriented WNW-ENE on its long axis, today only a short run of four stones survive in a southern arc. All of the stones are low, the tallest struggling to make 1m, and although the footpath passes close by, they can easily be missed. The ring is situated on a hillside with panoramic views over the valley below, and although it is slightly terraced, there is still a considerable slope to the site.
