Wideford Hill

Wideford from the southeast.
The exposed cairn layers are visible on all sides of the cairn, it is thought that they were all originally horizontal with an even height around the
circumference. The foundation of the walling is built on the hillside slope and that of the eastern walling (right) is about 3m higher than the
base of the western. The Bay of Firth and the small island of Damsay is visible in the background.
