Unstan - Antiquarian Illustrations

R.S. Clouston

Proceedings of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, 19, p.343, 1885.

Clouston's plan of Unstan.
The plan shows the layout very similar to what can be seen today, except that the middle two segmenting stones in the western wall (top) are
shown as being present. The joint between the cairn core and the primary outer casing is shown as arcs of contiguous stones
in the north and south areas of the cairn material.

As usual, our sincere thanks to the Society for allowing use of material from its most excellent Proceedings.
