Glantane east stands in a field 2km west of the circle, row and cairn at Knocknakilla. There seems to be the remains of a recumbent? circle dominated by a massive two stone row, we could see no traces of a cairn, radial or otherwise. Unfortunately when we visited the field was full of very boisterous bullocks, so we could not get measurements, panoramas or even a close look :-(
We could not even tell if the circle had been a five stone or a multi, there were certainly more than five large stones in the immediate vicinity. At least two of the standing low-height stones had very flat tops, but neither seemed to be located in the west - south arc. A ruined wedge tomb stands in the next field 100m to the north.
