Originally a thirteen stone ring, only ten circle stones stand at Dromroe today. The surviving stones show the classic height grading down from the portals to the recumbent. There is an internal boulder burial set off centre with its rectangular capstone aligned parallel to the recumbent - portal axis. Just to the south of the boulder burial, midway between it and the circle circumference, is a single stone about 0.8m high.
