This strange structure stands to the north
of Temple 1 amidst the remains of
unidentifiable buildings associated with the temple era. The crude stone
"hut" looks like a modern
construction and has some of the features of a "Girna". Girna
are small multi-purpose stone buildings
with corbelled roofs which are still constructed on the island today, although
their origins are very ancient.
Most probably modern, we include this as a curiosity.
