Looking through the right hand doorway of the "Long Room" to the small circular chamber built into the wall. This chamber had a corbelled stone roof, the only room in the house to have this feature, it also has a raised floor. Whatever the original use of this room was, it must have been of great importance to the inhabitants of the house.
