Visits - June 2000 No magnetic anomalies

We counted twelve stones remaining at this little cairn circle, they were all less than half a metre high. All of the stones lay with their long axes horizontal, and a contiguous stretch of four stones at the SW hints at the probable original form of the ring. The swell of the remaining cairn can be seen in the photo, and a central area of about 1m diameter was raised slightly above this. Although turfed, several cairn boulders were visible, but we could not see any large central stones that could have made up a cist.
